![]() I played six games with the crosshair on and did not fall below a 2.3 KDR. I was able to more consistently land shots, control recoil, miss less, be on target faster and be more precise. I decided to use the built in crosshair feature on my ASUS monitor.Īlmost immediately I noticed my performance improve. I noticed that I am terrible at judging where the middle of my screen is. These precious few moments usually cost me my life in gunfights. Aside from the terrible hit reg, lag compensation / latency and phantom hitmarkers, I noticed that when aiming-in on an enemy, I was always very slightly off, needing to adjust my aim AFTER ads-ing to get on target. In these games, I would be lucky to break even with a 1 KD. I can't really hang back with an SMG, so I rushed around. However, when playing with a SMG, I could not kill anyone to save my life. My best games were with a FG42, hanging slightly back, locking down a section of the map and pre-aiming to get those 3 shot kills. Please note, I did not use this in hardcore to gain an advantage, I was using this in core game modes.Īfter putting in almost 40hrs in the game, I was at a 1.35 KDR and having a mixed bag of games and performances. Today I learned that my performance in-game improved dramatically after I tried playing with my monitor's built in crosshair. ![]()
